Ambala protest turns violent, police use lathicharge

A protest by Sikh groups in Ambala over the arrest of two youths turned violent after protesters blocked NH-44 for nearly six hours. Police used tear gas and lathicharge to clear the highway, during which several police personnel, including a DSP, were injured. The confrontation followed demands for action against activist Gursimran Singh Mand.
